The Canadian International Autoshow is held each February in the heat of downtown Toronto. It is touted as being among the top three new car shows in the world with over a thousand new vehicles filling the convention centre and the Rogers Centre (Formerly Skydome).
As many as 300,000+ attendees pass through the gates during the ten day run. Although new models are the main attraction this show dedicates one large hall to display cruisers, hot rods, classics and customs. At the end of this hall is a 10,000 SQ. FT. "History Room" named so last year that highlights a classic automotive manufacturer. Last year it was MG's, in 2007 it will be Studebaker!
There will be approximately 20 Studebakers on display including a selection of five historic vehicles from the Studebaker National Museum Collection in South Bend, Indiana. The remaining Studebakers will be provided by the Ontario and Hamilton Chapters of the Studebaker Drivers Club along with the Canadian Avanti Owners Association. What a fantastic opportunity to have the Studebaker name in the spotlight!
The Canadian International Autoshow will take place February 16-25, 2007 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and The Rogers Centre.
