                                                                                                                                                                                         Biography by Stu Chapman

Lillian Morris joined the Advertising Department of Studebaker of Canada, Limited in 1962, having spent several years with Russell T. Kelley

Advertising Agency in Hamilton. In 1964 she became my Assistant when I was promoted to the position of Director of Advertising and

Public Relations. Her responsibilities included the production supervision of sales literature and the Uniform Identity Program, tasks she

handled with significant expertise. Following the closure of Studebaker in 1966, and considering my tenure there ended in June of that year,

Lillian took over management of the Department for several  months, ensuring that all phase-out duties as well as archival work was accomplished.

Late in 1966, Lillian joined me in the establishment of Chapman Morris Advertising Limited with the Studebaker Corporation as our first account.

She was married to Seymour Morris, a local Chartered accountant and was a very competitive tennis player. Her last Studebaker was a

1966 Daytona Sports sedan with wire wheel discs. Lillian Passed away on August 31st, 1997, following a long struggle with breast cancer.

In 2014 Lilian Morris was honoured for her contributions while working for Studebaker of Canada on the Studebaker of Canada Plaque located at the

Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana.
